New Features and Enhancements

In August 2022, Skykit Beam introduces support for Apple Keynote slide presentations, Microsoft OneDrive, and two new dashboard connections.

Apple Keynote Support

Skykit Beam now supports Apple Keynote slide presentations. You can upload Keynote presentations from your local drive and then set the duration and transition effects, the same way you manage a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.

You can also edit a Keynote presentation and then re-upload it from Skykit Beam, just as you can a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.

See Uploading a Slideshow into Skykit Beam and Managing a Slideshow in Skykit Beam to learn more.

Note: You can only upload and re-upload Keynote files from your local storage. You cannot upload them from a shared drive.

Microsoft OneDrive Support

Microsoft OneDrive is now available to all Skykit Beam users as a source for uploading content.

When you select +Content to upload images, videos, PowerPoint presentations, and PDF files, you'll now see Microsoft OneDrive as an option under Import Files.

New Dashboard Connections

Skykit continues to expand its library of dashboard connections so you have a growing number of ways to share your dashboards and visualization tools. The following dashboard connections have recently been added to the library:

  • SharePoint dashboard with Okta login
  • LumApps dashboard with both direct and Google login

You can see the complete library of dashboard connections on the Skykit website.
