# CMA1000 - Updating Wi-Fi Settings

Please see the instructions below for steps on how to update the Wi-Fi settings on an Android device. There are three methods you can use to update the Wi-Fi settings.

The following methods are for either **Skykit hardware** or **Skykit-approved Android devices**. These methods do not apply to Chrome Devices.

## **Additional Hardware Required**

- Wireless USB mouse/keyboard
- Micro USB Male to USB A Female adapter or cable

1. Plug your Micro USB Male to USB A Female adapter or cable into the device.
2. Connect the USB mouse/keyboard to the cable/adapter.
3. Proceed to the next steps based on which method you choose.

## **Method 1: Device Setup Page**

1. Restart your device.
2. Using the device's mouse or keyboard, select the gear icon in the lower left corner of the Skykit loading window.

The **Device Setup** window opens.

3. Select **Edit Wifi** to open a new window that lists your available networks.
4. Connect to your network.
5. Once your device has successfully connected to the internet, it checks to make sure all apps are up to date and continues playing your content.

## **Method 2: Diagnostic Page**

1. Restart your device.
2. Open the diagnostics window:
  - Using the keyboard, press the numbers **1 3 9 7**, in that order.
  - If your device is a touch screen, tap the **Top Left > Top Right > Bottom Right > Bottom Left** corners of the screen.
3. Select the **Edit Wifi** button towards the bottom of the diagnostics window.

4. Select **Edit Wifi** to open a new window that lists your available networks.
5. Connect to your network.
6. Once you have successfully connected to the internet, you should see green check marks next to all of the connections.

## **Method 3: System Settings (Advanced)**

This method is typically only used for troubleshooting purposes. If you are unable to connect using the above two methods, please contact Skykit Support and we will assist you with the following steps.

**Skykit Support** **Email:** support@skykit.com **Hours of Operation:** M-F 8AM to 5PM CST

1. Restart your device.
2. in the Skykit loading window, use the keyboard or mouse to select the **Lock** icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

A prompt opens. This is where you will enter the device-specific **Exit Code** provided by Skykit Support.

Skykit Control will now show where you can select **Manage Wifi** to connect to a Wifi network.
