# Deleting/Unpairing a Display in Beam

> [!NOTE]
> Only Tenant Admins and Account Owners can delete/unpair Displays in Beam.

1. In **Beam**, navigate to **Displays** from the menu bar
2. Click on the **Display** you would like to delete
3. Click the red **UNPAIR DISPLAY** button

4. Click **CONFIRM**

![Confirmation dialog asking to unpair a display with cancel and confirm options.](https://cdn.document360.io/86c4dfb2-4202-4f4a-97e1-d24441ae8c90/Images/Documentation/Screenshot 2026-04-15 at 3.20.12 PM(1).png)

If the device is **online** at the time if unpairing, it will reboot, then display a pairing code. If desired, [it can be paired again](/v1/docs/pairing-a-display-in-skykit-beam).

> [!WARNING]
> Device Move
>
> If you are unpairing because the device needs to be in a different Tenant, you can instead use [Device Move](/v1/docs/understanding-the-device-management-page).

If the device is **offline** at the time of unpairing, it will continue to play cached content until it comes back online.

This action cannot be undone. If you unpair a Display in Beam, it will also be removed from Control.
