# Does Skykit Beam support streaming URLs?

Yes, Skykit Beam supports the following streaming types using Web View:

- HLS (HTTP Live Streaming): The URL you use to create your Web View must end with .m3u8 (for example, **https://someurl.com/yourvideo.m3u8**).
- DASH (MPEG Dash) Streaming: The URL you use to create your Web View must end with .mpd (for example, **https://someurl.com/yourvideo.mpd**).
- RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol): The URL you use to create your Web View must start with rtsp (for example, **rtsp://someurl.com/somevideo**)
- Chrome-Supported Streaming: The URL you use to create your Web View should point directly to your video (for instance, a YouTube video).

To publish your streaming URL to your displays:

1. Create a web view content item. Beam uses the web view content item to display streaming content on your displays.
2. Manage a web view content item. Enter your streaming URL in the **URL** field (see image below) and then configure the remaining web view settings, such as **Fallback Content**, **Slide Duration**, and **Transition**.

If you insert your web view (with streaming URL) into a playlist or program, Beam will still advance to the next playlist entry or program segment after your web view's slide duration has ended.
