Recommendation
When using multiple Power BI Embedded dashboards in a Skykit playlist, each dashboard must go through an authentication process the first time it is played. If you have several Power BI dashboards in succession, this will increase load times due to the need to log into each one. Additionally, Skykit will need to re-authenticate each dashboard every time the Reload Duration set for the dashboard content is completed. To avoid these delays, we recommend using the standard Power BI version instead of the embedded version.
Step 1: Which dashboard provider would you like to use?
Within the dropdown menu and scroll down and select the Power BI Embedded option.
In the Enter a dashboard URL field, enter the Power BI Embedded Dashboard URL you would like to display. Remember, you must also include https:// in your URL.
◘ Important Note: The Power BI URL you provide, must be the Embedded URL in order for this dashboard to properly display. Furthermore, if there is a specific tab within your report you would like to display, you will need to utilize the embedded URL given. Please review the What is an Embedded URL? section to learn more
What is an Embedded URL?
To find the Embedded URL with in your Power BI page, follow this: Embed a report in a secure portal or website
Embedded URLs allow Skykit to display your dashboard correctly. This will help ensure to display just the dashboard report and not the entire webpage.
Step 2: How do you want to log in to your dashboard?
Within the dropdown menu, select the way you want to login with.

Reload Duration
This setting determines how often Skykit will force your dashboard to reload. If it’s crucial to show the most up to date data, set a low reload duration.
Note:
If your displays are on a mobile network, frequent page reloads can be costly. Reducing the Reload Duration can help save costs when your displays use a mobile connection.
Timeout Duration:
Skykit will attempt to reach your dashboard within the designated time frame. If it's not successful, we'll move on after the duration has passed.
