# Managing a Web Feed

## Managing Web Feeds

1. In the **Content** menu, select the web feed you want to manage. The **Web Feed** content manager window opens.

In this example, we'll manage a Weather web feed.
2. Beam automatically creates a title based on the type of web feed you created. If you'd like to change it, enter a new title in the **Name** field.
3. Select the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the window to open the **Settings** drawer.

The **Settings** drawer is where you can edit and manage settings such as transition effects and duration.

4. In the **Duration** field, enter how long you want each post or slide to be displayed. The duration defaults to 10 seconds.
5. Next, select a transition for the slide from the **Transition** list. When you select a transition, you can see a preview of the effect in the **Web Feed** window.
6. Edit the location, aspect ratio, weather category, and temperature format as needed.
7. Select the **Back** arrow to save your changes and close the **Settings** drawer.
8. Select **Publish** to make your web feed available to publish directly to your displays or to insert into a playlist or program.

**Note**: The specific settings will differ slightly depending on the type of web feed you're managing.

## **Next Steps**

Now that you've successfully created and managed your web feed, it's time to publish your content directly to your displays or insert them into a playlist or program.
