# Managing Images in Skykit Beam

## **Managing Images**

1. From the **Content** menu, select the image you want to manage.

The **Image** content manager window opens.
2. Beam automatically adds the title of your uploaded image into the **Name** field. If you'd like to change it, enter a new title in the field.

3. Select the gear icon in the upper right corner of the window to open the image's **Settings** drawer.

4. In the **Duration** field, enter how long you want the image to be displayed. The duration defaults to 10 seconds.
5. From the **Transition** list, select a transition for the image. When you select a transition, you will see a preview of the effect in the content manager window.
6. Select the **←****Back** button to save your changes and close the **Settings** drawer.
7. Select **Publish** to make your updated image available to publish directly to your displays or to insert into a playlist or program.

8. To change the settings for other images, go back to the **Content** menu and repeat Steps 1 through 7 as needed.
