Before you add any graphics or text to your design document, you need to define your design document's dimensions to ensure your content will fit your displays. See Sizing PDF Documents for Skykit Beam to learn more.
Uploading a PDF Document into Beam
- From the Content menu, select +Content in the upper right corner of the screen. A drop-down list opens showing the content options available to you.
- Select Import Files to expand the menu and then select Local Storage, Microsoft OneDrive, or Google Drive, depending on where your files are located.
- Select the PDF files you want to upload. You can select multiple files at once, or you can add them one by one.
The Review Upload Queue window opens, showing the files you selected for uploading. From here, you can add or remove documents before uploading them to Beam.
- To add files to the queue, select +Add More Files.
- To remove a file from the queue, select the X in the corner of the file icon.
- After you've added your documents to the queue, select Upload to upload them into Beam. The Notifications drawer opens automatically so you can monitor the progress of the upload.
- When your files have finished uploading, select ←Back to return to the Content menu, which now lists the files you just uploaded.
