# What are Account Owners?

An Account Owner is the [Account role](/v1/docs/user-roles-in-skykit-accounts) with the highest permission level.

## What Only Account Owners Can Do

Only users who are Account Owners can do the following. If you need help with one of these tasks, reach out to your Account Owner for help.

- [Account Settings](/v1/docs/understanding-the-accounts-settings-page)
  - Edit Account name and default time zone
- [Tenants](/v1/docs/understanding-tenants)
  - Create and deactivate Tenants
  - Set up [sharing relationships](/v1/docs/sharing-playlists-across-tenants) between Tenants
- [User Management](/v1/docs/understanding-user-management)
  - Add and remove Account users
  - Change users’ Account roles
  - Export a list of Account users and roles
  - **Note:** Tenant Admins are able to add and remove users from Tenants and change their [Tenant role](/v1/docs/user-roles-in-skykit-beam), but they cannot add or remove users from the Account entirely.
- [Device Management](/v1/docs/understanding-the-device-management-page)
  - Search for devices across Tenants
  - Move devices between Tenants

## Who is My Account Owner?

The email address of your Account Owner is listed on the [Account Settings](/v1/docs/understanding-the-accounts-settings-page) page. You can reach out to your Account Owner for help with any of the above tasks you cannot do yourself.

The number of Account Owners per Account is unlimited, so this may be multiple people.

> In rare cases, your Account may not have an owner. Contact the support team or your Customer Success Manager for help in this case.
