# Why can't I create new Dashboard credentials?

### **Who can create new Dashboard credentials?**

Only users with as **Admin** role can create new credentials when creating a [Dashboard](/v1/docs/create-dashboard-content-from-a-connected-app) in Skykit Beam.

> **Note:** This is a recent security update introduced with the release of [Skykit Apps](/v1/docs/add-and-manage-apps-in-skykit-beam). If you were previously able to create credentials but no longer can, it is due to this change.

### **What if I do not have an Admin role?**

Non-Admin users can still create and edit Dashboards, but you are restricted to using **existing credentials**.

### **How do I add new credentials?**

If you need new credentials added to your account, please reach out to your **Tenant Admin** or **Account Owner** and ask them to do one of the following:

- Create the new credentials for you.
- Update your user role to Admin.
