What you need:

  • Display monitor with an HDMI port

Device Setup

Step 1 - Connect HDMI cable

Connect your Skykit Media Player to the display using the HDMI cable.

Step 2 - Connect power cable

Connect your Skykit Media Player to power using the power adapter.

Step 3 - Connect to Internet

When your device has powered on, use the remote and follow the onscreen prompts to connect to an available Wi-Fi network.

If you're using Ethernet, simply plug your Ethernet cable into the back of your device.

Step 4 - Software updates

Once you have connected your device to the internet, it will check for any available software updates and install them.

Step 5 - Pair your device

After your device has updated, a Pairing Code is displayed on the screen. You will need this code to pair your device with Skykit Beam. See Pairing a Display in Skykit Beam for instructions.

Note: You will not need to perform this step if you purchased your device from Skykit directly.

Step 6 - Display content

Head to beam.skykit.com and log in. Once you have logged in, select Displays from the navigation bar to see your device(s). Select the display you want to update to open the Displays detail window and then select the Change button to choose the content you would like to display.
