Classic Collection

A collection created before Collections & Layouts. It opens in the original editor and can’t be converted.

Collection

A container that holds one or more layout entries with play rules and scheduling capabilities.

Collection Entry

An individual layout within a collection. Each entry can have its own layout configuration, content, lead zone, and play rules.

Content Warning

A layout that span several connected displays as a video wall.

Layout

The visual arrangement of content zones (single pane, two pane, etc.) within a collection entry.

Lead Zone

The designated zone within a layout entry that controls when the collection advances to the next entry. Only one zone per entry can be the lead zone.

Play Rules

Filters that determine when content is eligible to display based on date, time, recurrence patterns, or display labels.

Program

A legacy multi-segment layout container. Supported in single-zone entries. For new content, we recommend playlists.

RRules (Recurrence Rules)

Advanced scheduling patterns that allow for complex, repeating schedules (e.g., "every first Monday" or "weekdays only").

Single-Zone/Multi-zone entry

An entry with one zone, or with two or more. This determines whether programs can play.

Unified View (E500)

A layout that spans several connected displays as a video wall.

Zone

An individual content area within a layout where you place content items, playlists, or programs.
