To access Web View Settings, click the gear icon in the top right of the Web View detail page.

Background Color

This field allows you to assign a background color to the website if one is not already assigned. This can be done by entering a specific Hex color code or choosing one from the picker.

Note: This only takes effect if the website you’re displaying has a transparent background color, which is not the case for most websites. It does not override the site’s native background color.

Append Serial Number

When enabled, the URL will be altered to append the serial number of the device it is currently playing on. For example, the URL https://www.skykit.com/ becomes https://www.skykit.com?serialNumber=[deviceSerial]

This can be useful for cases where you are displaying an internal website and want to show location/device specific information.

Cacheable

Enabling allows pages to cache and therefore load more quickly on the screen. However, this can cause delays in updates to the site being displayed on the screen.

Reload Duration

This determines how often the display will do a “hard” reload on the website displayed. Most sites will update without needing to reload more frequently than the default.
