Connect your systems and apps to Skykit screens

Prev Next

Skykit can work with the software you already use in two ways. Which one fits depends on where your content lives and what you want on the screen.

Your content lives in another system

You keep information in a business system, such as a POS, a menu tool, a scheduling app or software you built. Today, someone recreates that information in Skykit by hand.
With Enterprise Content Integration, your screens show that information straight from the source. You update it once, in the system you already use, and every screen follows. Skykit handles delivery, playback and your devices behind the scenes, so your team keeps working in the system it already uses.
Example: restaurants using MustHaveMenus update a menu there, and the menu boards in every location change automatically.

Your app needs a home on the screen

You have an interactive app, such as a product finder, a check-in kiosk or a wayfinding screen. It works, but updating the promotions or messages inside it needs a developer.
With the Skykit App SDK, your app runs on Skykit screens and pulls content from Skykit Beam. Your app keeps doing its job, and your team updates the content like any playlist. The app can also switch to your Beam playlist when no one is using the screen.
Example: a retail kiosk shows a touch catalog, then plays seasonal promotions from Beam when it's idle.
