User Roles in Skykit Accounts

What is an Account User Role?

Your Account role determines what permissions you have within the Accounts portal. In addition to your Account role, you are assigned a product role for Beam and/or Control.

Accounts User Role Summary

Account Owner

This role has the highest level of permissions in Skykit. Only this role can:

• Edit global Account Settings on the Account Settings page

• Create new Tenants on the Tenants page

• Configure Content Sharing between Tenants on the Tenants page

• Create and remove users on the User Management page

• Search for devices across Tenants and move devices between Tenants Device Management page

• All permissions below

Account Tenant Admin

This role is the administrator of specific Tenants but not the Account as a whole. This role can:

• Update Tenant level settings on the Tenants page, including Default Content

• Add and remove existing users from their Tenant(s) on the Tenants page

• All permissions below

Account User and Restricted Installer

These roles have access to a very limited set of features in Accounts including:

• See a read only version of the Account Settings page

• Edit their own profile page, including preferred language
